Although Irina and Cristiano seemed to really love each other, Mrs. Maria Dolores, Ronaldo’s mother did not have a good relationship with the model.The reason? Maria reportedly knew that Cristiano’s intention was to have a large family, and Irina had no intentions of getting pregnant or having children of her own.
Apparently this was enough for the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to fracture. Irina is said to have been a bone of contention between Ronaldo and his mother on more than one occasion.
