Those iron scorch marks will be gone in no time!

Nothing’s worse than ironing your favourite blouse and accidentally leaving a scorch mark. What now?! Just throw out the blouse? No! We can feel your panic and luckily we’ve got the solution for you. Please note, though, that this solution only works on light stains. Unfortunately, we can’t repair shirts and trousers that have been seriously burnt or things that have melted. Those things are ripe for the trash, sad though it may be.

With these solutions to iron scorch marks, you won’t have to throw away your favourite shirt.

Effective

The most effective method is definitely to keep the mark wet with some ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. Drip a few drops of each onto the stain with a dropper. Leave it to sit and soak for a few minutes up to an hour. The amount of time depends on the severity of the scorch mark. Don’t let the stain dry. Make sure the stain stays moist with these two products and then rinse the fabric with water before putting the item of clothing in the washing machine with some Vanish Oxi Action.
