4. Carry as little stuff as possible
Even though you often feel that the cargo in the back of your car doesn’t matter, it does use up a lot more gasoline. By taking only the essentials and leaving the rest at home, you can save a lot of gasoline. Plus, it saves a lot of towing!
3. Combine short trips with each other
Just doing some groceries, getting some extra stuff for vacation, picking up the kids from the sports club…. We often make a lot of short trips by car. Try combining them. Not only does it save time, but the car only has to be fully started up once.
