Even if you’ve never been to Ukraine, you must’ve heard the stereotype about how beautiful Ukrainian women are. And while we agree that Ukrainian women are gorgeous, we feel it’s important to view people complexly and pay attention not only to looks but also to a person’s dignity and integrity. So you’re getting a bit more than you asked for, not only do you get to see pretty photos of beautiful Ukrainian women, but you also get to know a little about them, who they are, what they do, what are their achievements and how they work to help their country during the horrible Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Julia Sanina
Julia is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and blogger. Since 2011, she has been the frontwoman of the Ukrainian band “The Hardkiss”.
In 2014, she took part in the photoshoot for the charity calendar “Sincerely”, dedicated to the Ukrainian national costume and its popularization. All funds from the implementation of the calendar were donated to help wounded fighters at the Kyiv Military Hospital and the Volonterska Sotnia volunteering center of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
She was a member of the jury and mentor of the seventh season of the Ukrainian talent show “X-Factor” in 2016. She also was a participant in the seventh season of the Ukrainian TV show “Dancing with the Stars” and took second place. She is a member of the jury of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023.
The Hardkiss (the band Julia is in) is on their Stand with Ukraine charity world tour right now, and they heavily donate their profits to various humanitarian and cultural charities in Ukraine, as well as spread awareness about Ukraine.
